I bet that there are lots of owners that would like to find there bus stolen.
Sad but the guy will spend as much time in jail for stealing that old GM as he would as stealing a late model Prevost some thief's have no class
I saw that same add back in 2006. Maybe there is still hope in finding it.
Steve 5B.......
Stolen by his mechanic??? I'd be willing to bet that there are money issues. Not paid for work, labor or something like that.
Or he just took it out for a test drive!
....and broke down and couldnt get someone to come fix it.
Evan if money was involved with the mechanic there are channels he has to go through he cannot just drive the bus away, I did some work on a bus from this board and took a check which I do the check laid around here for a few days and when I deposited the check it came back as a stop payment the law here went after him when they found him in Quartzsite he was more than happy to pay cost him 3 days in jail and a fine double the amount of the check all for trying to beat me for 650 bucks
Now, all of our 4905's will be suspect!!
This is a PD4903 so I am not to worried about having my P8M4905A impounded.
;D
RRT
I believe in my heart you GM guys are safe ::)
At least the mechanic had good taste in brand of vehicle to steal.
Or he was Blind, LOL ;D
If he was blind he could have just listened for rusting and still taken the GMC.
He's probably got Eagle caps on it by now.
See what you started Dave he thinks you own a Eagle like me ::)
How much does the Lojack system cost per month?
Clifford That's what I was thinking he thought, LOL
I just thought it was interesting and told my wife about it and she read the link and noticed the fire department thing. She sent it to some friends of ours who handle all the fire Musters and shows for their equipment in the Western states. So being she knows all the Fire captains and Chiefs so going to send it to them and see if any of them have seen this or knows the story or maybe knows this guy.
