I saw that same add back in 2006. Maybe there is still hope in finding it.

Stolen by his mechanic??? I'd be willing to bet that there are money issues. Not paid for work, labor or something like that.

Evan if money was involved with the mechanic there are channels he has to go through he cannot just drive the bus away, I did some work on a bus from this board and took a check which I do the check laid around here for a few days and when I deposited the check it came back as a stop payment the law here went after him when they found him in Quartzsite he was more than happy to pay cost him 3 days in jail and a fine double the amount of the check all for trying to beat me for 650 bucks

If he was blind he could have just listened for rusting and still taken the GMC.

Clifford That's what I was thinking he thought, LOL
I just thought it was interesting and told my wife about it and she read the link and noticed the fire department thing. She sent it to some friends of ours who handle all the fire Musters and shows for their equipment in the Western states. So being she knows all the Fire captains and Chiefs so going to send it to them and see if any of them have seen this or knows the story or maybe knows this guy.
