TEMSA has had been in the US market for a few years with their 30 and 35 foot models. I have not heard too much on how well they are but on balance favorable. Now they have a 45 footer. Time and the market will determine how long they last. I hope for their sake they do well.

Maybe the Turks will do better than the Chinese made BCI Falcon from a few years back nice looking bus
It does look sharp. If they expect to make money, they better do it right. So many builders let the quality go down the toilet and BCI was near the top of the list. At least with their 35 footers, they are built from the ground up as buses and not on a beefed up motorhome or school bus chassis like the now departed VAN-HOOL 3035RE.
I'm intrigued by the curiously old-fashioned looking windscreen (windshield) on that built-for-the-USA model - must be some American legislation thing as the equivalent bus sold in other markets has a big wraparound one-piece screen. The American version has noticeably more pronounced bumpers on the front too, and smaller mirrors.
I see from a bit of Googling that Temsa do have a distributor in the UK, although it wasn't a brand name I was familiar - looks like they mostly sell transits here but the coaches are offered too.
Incidentally, most Mercedes buses and coaches are built in Turkey I believe.

Here the Mercedes is sold with a Freightliner chassis under the name of Stallion, the Mercedes for Europe are assembled in Turkey same as some of the trucks the frames and drive trains come from South America I have been in the plant in Brazil before
I saw my first Toyota bus in Vegas at the airport I had no idea Toyota even made a bus I think it belonged to National Car Rental it was a ugly @$# green color

Toyota Optimo midi buses are ubiquitous here, and they are dirt cheap. Ebay is full of them. I came across them constantly when I was looking for my bus, and if you wanted a 'small' bus conversion they'd probably be an attractive candidate. I couldn't live with anything with little wheels like that myself though

Jefferson Lines has purchased some Temsa coaches. Not sure what length though.

Interesting that Temsa's HQ is a mile and a half from ABC bus's HQ in MN. . .
Also interesting that their new 45-foot coach has a shorter wheelbase than the 40-foot 4905. . .
More baggage bin space and a tighter turning radius than a Buffalo, tho. . .

Very insightful RJ and LUVERBUS. I too found it interesting that both "dealers" are in the same area. Perhaps it's just a coincidence but then again, who'd a thought that MCI and SETRA would have partnered. If VAN-HOOL and TEMSA would partner here, this would give ABC BUS a full line of coaches in all sizes. I admit that I have a hard time understanding the MCI/SETRA spaghetti plate arrangement.
