We left our bus in the US and are spending some time in Australia for 3 months. We are really missing our bus and occasionally see one on the side of the road in disrepair. There are a lot of what they call mini busses in use retrofitted as campers. Iv'e noticed that the price of Diesel and Unleaded gas are about the same here, $1.55 per liter. Higher than what we pay in the US but I was surprised that they were about equal. By the way, the weather is great. Iv'e heard fixing up a vehicle and passing inspection here can be a bear, so maybe the idea of fixing up a bus over here also isn't a great one. Craig
Hope you folks are enjoying your travels. We missed you at Quartzsite this week. Hope to see you upon your eturn.
Hi Craig
Welcome to Australia.
Are you travelling around for the time you are here or just in one spot?
It is a very different bus market here, very low volume and much higher costs from what I can establish.
I hope you are enjoying your stay.

Glen, we are based in Victoria and will be traveling up the coast of NSW for some of the time. You based over here? I wonder how you fit a bus in the caravan parks here, it doesn't seem like any of them are set up for anything bigger than 20'. Craig
Hollands, When you get to NSW (Sydney) if you have time, take the tour up to the top of the Sydney Harbor Bridge. It is absolutely the most beautiful views we had ever seen!...
