Unfortunately it's probably "buyer beware."  A good job for a lawyer, but 100% of zero is still zero, which is what a dealer who'd sell such probably has to loose.  Any reputable dealer would be slapped with a big lawsuit, but then again any reputable dealer probably would not sell it with obvious bad tires.

Another question would be , is it a "dealer/ship" or a consignment lot??, makes a huge difference.>>>Dan

Dealers in AZ under A.R.S 28-291 are supposed to have a implied warranty in short every thing like lights, horn, brakes, tires, emission if required for the county or city and etc.are supposed to be in a safe working order for a short period of time I forgot how many days it was

Damn, Clifford.  I knew that A.R.S 28-965 had to do with fuel tank caps, but jeeez, you know EVERYTHING! 8)

28-965. Fuel tank caps
A person shall not operate a motor vehicle on a highway unless the filling spout for the fuel tank is properly closed by means of a cap or cover composed of a noncombustible material that meets or exceeds applicable federal safety standards. This section does not apply to an electrically powered motor vehicle.

28-265 is just a starting point Doyle it goes to 28-958 or beyond I forgot but the Gypsy dealers here are always getting busted for something  in the 28 A.R.S you will never see a car with a broke windshield for sale here lol  it maybe the A.R.S 44 but tires are covered some where in the codes

Seems to be the typical area of some buyer who has zero experience / knowledge on vehicles that would actually purchase anything in such condition, unless there is a law that protects everyone from being stupid ?
