Can anyone tell me what exactly this white stripping is called and where I can get it? Thank you! :-)

Is it wood or plastic? Seems like it could be found at any large home improvement store. Not sure about the buttons!

Bryan - Unless you are in love with that trim - I would go get some nice PVC trim from Home Depot or Lowes to replace it. Easy to work with/cut and bends right into shape. Comes in white by default which is perfect for you there but it is also paint-able.
You could probably do a nice 2" or 3" crown molding to cover that.
Anyways....thats what I'd do ;0

That's called Batten,Mullin and some call it sanitary molding
good luck
It's plastic and I used some in my bathroom. If you're looking for nicer looking, try pre cut wood moldings that are varnished. Available at big box stores. Good Luck, TomC
Is that molding foam filled ?
Kind of looks like a PVC or sintra molding, but I could be wrong.
