Is it just me or does other people have sixty second page loads? This is the only site that is doing this to me. It's been doing this off and on for a while now.
Cary
No problems here.
Bob
we're good here also
Pages load fast for me, and I'm 3,000 miles further away!

try getting a dos window up (called Command Prompt in the application list). You will get a c: prompt. type ping www.busconversions.com (http://www.busconversions.com), enter and your computer will ping the bus conversions server 3 times and tell you the round trip delay for the network. That will tell you if your network connection is the issue or not.

I just timed the load-2 seconds for the face page, and another 2 seconds for bulletin board. Good Luck, TomC
That is so weird. I pinged it and it said 4 seconds. Now the page is loading like it should. It has been very intermittent. At least all is good now.

Bevans6 Now you can learn about routers and opening up routes or paths. and holding them. also about priorities Router get very deep make inverters seem like hand tools.

Hey Ned. I Used to work for UUNet, and our network was the Alternet network - if you did a trace route and didn't hit an Alternet router somewhere in the path, it was unusual. We had the biggest, most interconnected network in the world for many years, it may still be. I had many engineers that I could pull in when I needed routers routed... ;D I was pretty expert, for a sales guy, in MPLS networking, which was the core network technology that the large carriers migrated to. Thankfully retired now so I don't need to worry about it anymore! Funny story, my internet access went stupid a few months ago. Called the 1-800 number and the guy was convinced that the problem was my computer. I said, why do I have restricted internet access that works just fine if it's my computer? He said "How do you know you have restricted internet access?". I said "I can ping, I can do trace routes, I can do DNS lookups, so I have internet access, I just can't access web pages". It was a problem on their end...

Cary, a normal ping time for a hard wired connection (not an air card) is under 100 Msec. My ping time to that server is around 350 msec but I am using an air card on a cell phone network. 4 seconds is not normal at all. You could try pinging a few other sites, or try the tracert www dot yoursitehere command to see where the delay is. Not that it's going to fix anything for you, but it's fun (if you're a nerd...)
Edit: Sorry about that Clifford, I had no idea... :o
Brian
Nice site Brian but I didn't see anything about loading time there LOL
No problems here.
However, the other site just vastly increased the pic size and it slowed to a crawl.
Both sites have a very similar appearance.
I was just over on BNO and it loads every bit as fast as it ever did for me. BNO has always loaded very fast for me. Very few people have uploaded new pictures except to the one thread.
It only happened for one day.
The pic max was decreased and most of the pics in that string were deleted so it is back to normal now.
