The MAK ( GoBusin ) classifieds are almost live. All who signup during December will receive a $25 credit in their account to be used for placing ads.

We will adjust all accounts who have already signed up for an account to hold the $25 amount instead of the original $10. You can place the ads in December or a later month when you are ready with your bus treasures!!
This is a great time to sign up!
Ads will be "real" as of tomorrow.

I appreciate the questions!
Site security - PayPal transactions are strictly handled at the PayPal site. Securely. Transactions can also be setup via phone with the MAK/GoBusin office as well.
As far as who has access to your information ; the classifieds site is not like the bus BBS, where there is a searchable member directory. That does not exist as far I have determined. It is much more "guarded". The only entity with access to the member identification is the site administrator. The member list is only for administration - and is not going to be used for any advertising purposes. Just as we have kept the membership on the BBS from that kind of mass marketing, so it will be also on the Classified site.
The $25 credit is a good opportunity to signup, keep the credit, and use it when an opportunity presents itself to sell something at NO charge.

They seem a bit vague.
Also ... are the fields with astericks (*) all REQUIRED fields? It doesn't state it -- just assuming. A lot of information being given there. Just missing my SSN and DL #. :D

I like that - good catch Jerry. About the only term & condition I had been able to come up with so far is "don't heckle Phil". Wasn't sure that would go over so well, but it may be worth a try. :D

I don't see any more information being required than any standard business transaction. They only want name, address, phone number and email.

36 ads over on the bus classifieds - the number is rising!! Please also support the advertisers - it helps keeps this BBS running!! For example, there is a company out of "Cape May Courthouse - New USA" whom we all know listed under "Bus Conversion Parts & Materials" !
