I may be missing something obvious, but I don't want to step on toes or break rules. Am I allowed to post a project for sale here? Or if I put it on eBay, can I post a link here?
I realize it was Willie Nelson whose band bus crashed, but I'm finally forced to quote Kenny Rogers instead: "You got to know when to hold 'em, know when to fold 'em, know when to walk away..." Most of you already know what I'll have up for sale...it just wasn't meant to be!
Thanks for any tips about what's allowed!
Cheers, John
Seems to be a bit of a gray area. The spare tires is limited to $1000.
Other option is to go over and list it at BNO for free.

HTH....Tim
Do a Ebay or any other link it's done here every day the 1000 limit sucks here when you have to break a engine down to 5 or 6 parts to sell I guess it beats the 500.00 limit Mikey had for a long time
Ian just gave up and said sell it what ever the price for parts or the bus
Timkar is right, there is a $1000 limit in the spare tire. About ebay, members are allowed to share links to buses and bus related items on ebay, craigslist, etc. as long as they don't have a personal stake in the item.
For now, you can also post it free for 30 days at a time in the BCM online classifieds:
www.BusConversions.com/bcmclassifieds/ (http://www.busconversions.com/bcmclassifieds/)
Go to that page, click Join Now from the menu bar section titled Members. Once you create a login registration (it is easy and immediate), you can post an ad there for free for 30 days.
And then of course there are the classifieds in the magazine which Gary has reduced prices on to make them more affordable than ever.
You're welcome to post it on MCI bus talk for free too. Doesn't need to be an MCI

List it on Ebay someone here will link it they always do ::)
Now who would do such a thing Clifford ::)
How about" spare tire, $1000 and contact me about purchasing rest of vehicle; pictures attached"
I sold my 4104 on BNO; supplied several pictures. Took about a year with the bad economy and fuel prices. Had several inquiries. What better place to sell but to existing or future potential bus enthusiasts. Please try to be honest and accurate with your description. Have many extra pictures available to interested parties. Drive able units are going to be much easier to sell. Be REALISTIC about the selling price or it's going to sit.

Sorry it didn't work out for you, John. Best wishes on your next project!
This project, that you speak of. Do you happen to know what your "friend" would realistically get for it? ;)
Thanks for all the good tips, guys, and for keeping me from upsetting the applecart posting something I'm not supposed to around here. It sounds like I'm about 20x over the limit for spare tires. I'm sure it'll get noticed when I finally get around to shooting some photos and posting it around. Stay tuned after the holidays. Someone stands to get some great bones for finishing the build, and the benefit of all the time and $$$ I put into it so far.
Cheers, John
Lol that is one way to post a price John
60 Lug nuts, $330.00 ea. bus included.
That will work wasn't it Ace before the free listing on BNO posted the refrigerator for sale and the bus was free I remember it was a high dollar fridge
Haha, sorry, that wasn't my point -- I haven't put a pencil to it, because my accountant side just really doesn't want to know! The point is more that someone can have an 80% headstart on a project for around the amount that an unknown out-of-service OTR bus would cost somewhere. Plus, it's a Prevost! I need to take photos and really come to grips with how bad a bath I am going to take on this when it's all said and done!!! :o
Cheers, John
John, what about a straight across trade, would that qualify? I'll volunteer my MCI5A, to see if its ok with managment! It's a pro conversion too! Tom, lvmci...
