Hey guys! When I purchased this bus, the PO left me with many extra parts. Some of them I have an idea of what they are and do, and others I have no clue. I took some pictures, and going to try to set up an organized post with them numbered. Maybe some of you can explain some of these parts to me. Thanks so much!!! :D
Part 1 Just double checking that is is a power steering box?

Bryan, I can help you with most of them. They are:
1. Power steering gear
2. Hydraulic gear oil reservoir (power steering)
3. Hydraulic pump
4. Starter
5. Water pump
6. Voltage regulator
7. Dog substitute (just kidding)
8. 50 DN alternator
9. Not sure on this one
10. Air compressor
7. Mouse deterrent device
9. Spicer tranny oil pump
That's a nice collection of spares!
Yes, #7 keeps all mice out of the bus!
#3 the hydraulic pump, that's also for power steering correct?
The old steering pump more than likely.

Number 8 is a time bomb I have a engine in the shop here now the 50D gear driven alternator turned loose and destroyed the engine not a pretty sight all the valves bent, cams broke, the gear train and bell-housing destroyed sell that and buy a belt driven alternator ???
good luck
Ok. that was fun. I didn't identify all of them but came close. The furry part was hard to identify...appeared to be some sort of feline actuator. Definitely want to play this game again. Anyone else have parts they can post pics of to identify? Would be a great way to learn about what's what on our coaches. :)
Part #7 is used on Cat diesels.
Mex, wrong!! kitty litter is used for Cat diesels.>>>Dan
#7 is a ball bearing mouse trap.
Sorry folks, couldn't resist.

#6 is the transistorized voltage regulator for the 50DN. I switched my regulator over to a digital regulator-it is about the size of a pack of cigs. Good Luck, TomC
The 2 rectangular items between the starter and water pump in photo #4 are rear motor mounts.

Okay,
Here's the deal....wifey wants part#7 how much to get off your hands?do you need a 10bolt front 3rd member for an Isuzu?even swap :-*
.
.
I believe part#7 matches a few spare parts we have ;D
#2 are the PS reservoirs/filters just like on my 4107.
It appears the PO was accumulating parts to install PS or he had removed the old one?
#6, the voltage regulator is a good part to have on hand if it is good. I've had numerous problems with mine and I also have a good spare.
I agree with the others but #9 is a mystery?
number 9 has been identified as transmission oil pump that what it looks like to me
