Hi All, new rubber for the windshields (no more fearing the rain), new fantastic fan for the living room ( caulk was much worse than thought), had a bay access from the living room, covered it with a flat piece of plywood so I can put vinyl tiles over the livingroom (much harder to find the right thickness plywood than I thought could be, does Canada use different thickness measurements than the US?), thanks to Gary Bennett of B&B Busconversions 702 8734415 (adds in BCM) and their clearance sale, Gary for all his personal help and use of his knowledge (knowledge of the oil bath air filter I've been searching for) and Joe, Van for his exuberant help, and a 12R22.5 spare, Luis at Glaze window replacement 7025457263 for their hard work replacing the rubber. All of this done in one day! Feeling much better about the condition of the Italian Greyhound! Lvmci...
My new rubber is in a box in the bay. LOL might have to get with this project. I did buy some suction cups to work with the window. Come to think of it I have a door seal in that box also. I think I made the mistake to start using the bus now don't have time for projects.

Luis is pretty talented with the glass, when they finished yours Tom, they were back to install new glass in the MCI we have in the shop.

Hi All, took out the congolium and its foam underlayment from the 80's, great inexpensive tool from harbor freight, $20, oscillating power tool, took a few hours with hand tools to do a few feet and gouged the plywood, took a few hours to do the entire bus with the power tool! Great buy at lowes for the tiles, $.10 cheaper than hd. Copied the picture from the flyer for forest river rvs from the internet, bought the jackknife sofa and matching chair from walts rv, liquidation store, in rialto, ca, got the flyer, then found the floor tiles. Inexpensive, functional, not bad looking, updated design, more room, tranformed the old bus, lvmci...
Here you go Tom! ;D

What was the cost to replace the rubber on the windshields?
Thanks Van!!
Ed, got the windshield rubber from MCI in los alimitos,ca, they still had a few rubbers for 5s left when I bought it in may, it cost $83 each and $30 for a minimum order, a guy that Gary from B&B uses, Luis from Glaze, was $180 per window, because of the split windshield, $360, looks great, lvmci...
Tom,
Looking good! We are headed west after January and so hoping to see all of you guys in Las Vegas!
Can't wait to get a ride on that Greyhound and see her (him?) run.
-Sean
Sean, it would be great to see you too, wish you could make it to the Dam Rally, I've got to take you over to B&B to see the prevost with the 3 slides, Gary, Joe and Van are installing, tom...
No worries Tom ;) Hey Sean, we will miss you at the gathering, maybe next year.
PRESTO CHANGEO!
