Title: newbie here
Post by: CFine on December 04, 2006, 09:48:32 PM
Hi all. New here, but am on yahoo MCI, Eagle, and GM bus forums for a long time. Just found this one from a link about the Walker coach mess. To bad, as they seemed to have a lot of great ideas............
Anyway, no bus yet, but have a plastic 37' DP w/8.3 Cummins/Allison on a Spartan MM chassis. Have it for sale locally and hope to use procedes to buy a bus. Good friends have a great GM 4107 that's converted and we love the ride of that old hot rod!!  We are leaning towards an MCI 9 or 12 for now. May look at some NJT's in Chicago, but really want one with the genset, A/C units in.  Anyway glad to find you guys and I'll spend some time looking at the older posts for a while

Chris,

Welcome,

This is a great place to get ideas, Opinions and everything in between.

Don't hesitate to ask questions and search the archives for many that have already been answered.

Enjoy your search for the perfect coach for you.  ;D

Welcome to the group Chris & Lana!

Chat is also a place to interact with busfolk - button is at the top of the page.

We are out west of Chicago - feel free to look us up if you are out this way.  We have an MC9.

Kind Regards, Phil

Chris -

Welcome aboard.  You now have an incurable disease, however, the minions who frequent this bbs and the other one (www.busnut.com) are well-versed in how to handle the symptoms and assist in your care.

While you're reading the archives, be sure to check thru the buses for sale section.  You might find what you're looking for "ready to roll" with just some modifications on your part to customize it for your needs.

Oh, and take a minute to update your profile with your location.  Not necessarily a street address, but at least city/state.  Put it in the frapper map, too!

Again, welcome aboard!
