We are going to launch a "gofundme" crowd funding page tomorrow to help save this bus! Every little bit helps!
We are going to give a "I helped save the Black Buffalo!" T-shirt to everyone that donates over $40!
Dave and Cari
The Black Buffalo is PD4104-354.....
Might the keepers of the historical info tell us all about the classic coach we are saving?

What year is that coach? Engine?
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk. Clumsy fingers may contribute to mistakes.
It is an 8v71n powered, 4 speed Spicer trans...she runs beautifully...
Just needs to be gone through and made right...after it is saved from the chopper!
I believe it to be a 1969... I bet by later today one of the folks that has the database will chime in with its known history.....
Dave
Anyone that wishes to help...
Please send donation and a card with your return address and the size T-shirt desired to:

You posted the black buffalo is pd4104 354
You must mean pd4903 354
Mark
As ugly as that bus is there is no saving it ::)
Come on Clifford, you want a t-shirt, just come out and say it
Mark
I did indeed...of course....
Swipe on this phone sometimes uses items you have used before...when you don't want it to.....kind of annoying...but what a cool piece of software...

I'm still in the past... With Apple
PD-4903-354 from GMC to Okanogan Valley Lines # 71
Spokane,WA.
There are many other 49 series worth saving than this one, at least find a 05 version without being all painted.
The world has enough aluminum siding.....
Not enough old classic buses...
That's why I'm trying to save this one...seems quite the waste to let them shred it...a good running machine with a nicely working air system...
If this model works...I'm going to try the same idea to save an old airliner....like a 727...
What are your plans for that bus if you do get enough donations to buy it? Will it continue to just sit parked, like it currently is? I would need a lot more information before I would donate. If you are trying to buy it for your own use, why would you expect others to spend their money on it? I'm confused about the whole deal!!!
Good luck, Sam
It is just an old bus... Either someone buys it for scrap value or more, or it goes to the recyclers where it belongs.
JC
My plan is to stop its deterioration immediately...then to finish the conversion using as many of the original components as possible...
Basically I hope other enthusiasts would not want to see it destroyed...
I have a place to put it...and the skills to finish it...what I don't have...is the cash to stop its trip to the crusher.....
I know most folks don't care...but maybe enough will to add to what I do have...and keep it a bus...instead of window frames and beer cans.....
You show some imagination to get others to buy you a bus to convert. I'll give you that. ::)
I've got an idea! Let's all put our names in a hat, each pick one out and send that busnut $100... okay send $1000. That way everyone gets some help on saving an old bus, albeit their own. Kinda like the gift exchange at Christmas. Everyone wins, right?
I'm not really understanding this whole exercise.
But, we'd all get a t-shirt, right?

This thread is weird. You want us to buy you a bus? Please explain.
JC

I'll donate if you promise not to save a 727.
I hated that airplane.
The tee shirt should have a picture of a guy with a fish hook and line lodged in his cheek and the saying...I HELPED SAVE THE BLACK BUFFALO BUS!!

No, Geoff, apparently (thankfully) not!
Something must have hiccuped at your end. . .

You're only ignored by 4 members, so you're small fry. I don't know who has the record.
