Title: 4106 front bumper?
Post by: chessie4905 on September 21, 2013, 04:50:15 PM
I need the center to center distance for the two holes you stick the socket wrench through to access the spare on a 4106. The one that is on  my 4905 has one hole off about 3 inches; doesn't match the spacing on the one on my 4905 parts bus.

Maybe somebody on here knows of a place that will recondition one to look like new, since they are aluminum.

I've done several by laying the bumper upside down on a 2X12 and hammer with a 40 pounder on the inside of the dents, then grind the outside smooth and repolish, it's not too difficult and the bumper is not a hardened aluminum.>>>Dan

There is a place in Brigham City UT that can make a 4106 bumper look new or any other bumper he has done a couple of S/S bumpers for me off Eagles and I have saw GM bumpers in there before he is not cheap but he is good Leno has his work done there
