Going in for oil change and general look-over/maintenance tomorrow. Should the fuel filters be done just because? What about air filters? Do they all have the same schedule or???
I don't have many miles since I bought it, but it sat for three and a half years and only driven a few hundred miles this year. I hope to start driving much more so having clean oil and checked over just seems like a good idea.

As a clogged fuel filter is about the only thing that will make a diesel NOT covered in electronics stop.....if you don't know when the last time it was changed was.....change it...and always carry at least once example of each fuel filter .....one day that will save you a BIG towing bill.....

I used to change my fuel filters often also. I've got a wall locker full of them.
Several years back, I installed a fuel pressure sender and gauge. I tell myself if they ever get below 45 psi, I will change them.
That has never happened! So I see no need to change them until it does. I keep spares in the coach. I keep the tanks topped up and Stabil in them if it is not going to be used for some time.
Has worked very well for me.
Indeed...a fuel pressure gauge definitely helps change them in a timely manner...and is something every Diesel should have...
But...until you have one...if you don't...change them...

I should have said that also.
I would replace them since you never have. All of this is part of base lining your maintenance with the coach. Soon you'll know right where the maintenance schedule is and that's a nice feeling.

I don't want to steal the thread but on the subject of changing fuel filters. I was told by an old trucker When they change them they would fill them with ATF. He said it cleaned the injectors. Anyone have any thoughts on this

I have heard this as well... I use a 50/50 mix of Diesel ...and Diesel Kleen....
And every 3 or 4....I use Lubro-Moly Diesel Purge...GREAT stuff for cleaning injectors and pumps...

Rick, one really takes a chance of blowing the tips off the injectors and the seal in the fuel pump using ATF for priming, ATF is 10w fwiw it's best to use diesel
