Title: New source for MCI parts
Post by: belfert on August 06, 2013, 05:35:13 AM
MCI has shifted some of their older slower moving parts over to a company called Vintage Parts.  The Vintage Parts website is vpartsinc.com.  You need the exact MCI part number to look up to see if they have the part in stock.  You cannot actually order MCI parts online and will have to call them at 1.877.846.8243 to get a price or to order.  If you look up parts at MCI's online store some will say to call Vintage Parts.

I have a bad windshield wiper motor on my Dina.  Vintage parts has them for $150 which I think is not bad.  I have no idea how much MCI previously charged.  I used the manufacturer part number on the motor to try and find one that way and they are only available in Europe for around $450.

Any idea of when they determine a bus (parts) are considered vintage?  ??? I know my bus is considered a black hole and money pit! ;D

Thanks for the information!
