Does anyone know the Donaldson part number for the vacuator valves on the bottom of the four air cleaner canisters? Any help would be appreciated! Regards John L
Hi;
What is a "vacuator valve"? The air cleaners on my MC-7
still has the oil bath type air cleaner. It is a 70'. What
year is yours? Have you looked in the manual? Sounds
like something has been changed. If you do not have a
manual, I can have a lood tomarrow.
Merle.
My manual shows the following
9c-3-115 / valve-evacuator (rubber)
I would bet that that is the same for my 5A. Will have to look and see if i can find it in my manual......i think i might be missing a page or two here and there.
Measure the size Napa can order those from Donaldson probably a lot of other places can too
Dave, I have that part number but cannot cross it! On the Donaldson website They refer to it as a vacuator valve. No e for whatever reason. The filter housing number is FWG080073. I bought some of these a long time ago and do not have the info anymore. Thought somebody might have the part number. I will call Donaldson tomorrow and see what help They offer. Will post the numbers if I get them might save others the trouble. Need four of them to replace them all. John L
Dave i don't see that in my book. What page is it in yours? under what heading?
Merle, sorry I did not acknowledge Your comment. My coach is a 1972 and has four vertical canisters on the left side that take paper cyclonic filters. I assume it came that way as the manual shows the assy but only MCI numbers! The parts are no longer available from MCI. Filter elements are readily available from many vendors. Thanks for responding. John L
Why the term Vacuator Valve? According to the Donaldson person I talked too when under vacuum caused by filter restriction valve is pulled closed. When engine is off valve opens and allows water and dirt to drain. Part number is P103198 and costs eight bucks the only problem is My local cat dealer which is Donaldson dealer has to order a minimum of ten valves. Found on line at ebay from comepletecoach for 4 bucks each. Even a blind squirrel finds a nut sometimes. Thanks all for help John L
