Title: Selling my 1957 GMC 4104
Post by: vonprum on June 29, 2013, 04:45:44 PM
I've listed it on eBay, http://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/e12000.m43.l1123/7?euid=74d3947c41c34571bbfaca19effca49b&loc=http%3A%2F%2Fcgi.ebay.com%2Febaymotors%2Fws%2FeBayISAPI.dll%3FViewItem%26item%3D221247762125%26ssPageName%3DADME%3AL%3ALCA%3AMOTORS%3A1123 (http://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/e12000.m43.l1123/7?euid=74d3947c41c34571bbfaca19effca49b&loc=http%3A%2F%2Fcgi.ebay.com%2Febaymotors%2Fws%2FeBayISAPI.dll%3FViewItem%26item%3D221247762125%26ssPageName%3DADME%3AL%3ALCA%3AMOTORS%3A1123)

It has a very low reserve so tell anyone you know who might be interested. It might end up a really good deal.

Lance -

Love how you get to walk on the ceiling!

If anybody asks, PD4104-2545 was delivered new in June of 1957 as fleet number E-3063 to Eastern Greyhound Lines, HQ'd in Cleveland, OH at the time.  Probably was sold in the fall of 1967 after the summer peak season to a second-tier operator or a private individual.  I don't have any additional owner info, sorry.

Good luck w/ your sale!

I wish you success on your sale, and I applaud your forthright and sincere description of the bus on the site, that was refreshing.  Hope it sells.

Oops - Correction to above, based on the builders data plate picture you added to your eBay ad (even tho it's upside down):  PD4104-2548 - same delivery month, same carrier, different fleet number E-3066.

Again, good luck with your sale!

Thanks, all. I have a complete past history of the bus since it was delivered to Greyhound. The low reserve has been met and the current bid is $3K.
