Title: filter
Post by: ol713 on June 27, 2013, 12:21:32 PM

  Hi All;
      Does any one have a source for an "E" filter? On my MC-7, the book says
      to change it every 50K miles.  For me, It has been a bit more than that.
      MCI no longer has them.  Mohawk said they were discontinued a few years
      ago. I read here some time ago that someone has changed theirs recently.
      Would that person tell me where to get that filter and maybe also the
      part number if possiable?
                                           Thanks,  Merle. :-\

We have a MC7 Combo, have not yet seen another 7, where are you located? Can you tell me what an "E" filter is?

Hi;
    Yes, we saw your coach in Blythville.   Nice coach.  The "E" filter is located on the
    air tanks just behind the front axel.  This filter is often overlooked and causes problems
    with  airing up the air system when the filter is cloged up with oil and stuff. If you have
    the manuals, check section 12. It shows the location better.
                                           Thanks, Merle.

Thanks Merle! I'm on it! I've got to get the front wheels off and check the brake adjustment, perfect time to replace the E filter.
