Clifford,
We are north of the main action, but things sure got interesting last night and early this morning. I really feel for those folks down south. You all stay safe.
John

Texas is often not a whole lot better!
I'm in the best place of all right now, Seattle!!
All the action is still south of us, so we are fine.
Don, what about you? You doing okay.
Some nasty ones today....

We are fine, my neighbor who doesn't have a shelter (we have a safe room) had to drive over 40 miles away, just to get out of the line of storms. I understand 8 or more hit Oklahoma City, where I live (El Reno) we had small multiple vortex twisters springing out of the mile wide monster.
Pretty heavy day today, that is for sure.

When its 40 below and the wind is blowing hard on the prairies I like to remind myself that we don't get tornados and don't have snakes. Everything is a tradeoff I guess.
Yeah, and our state bird is the mosquito! We get lightning two or three times a decade.
More often, just rain. We used to get 13 feet a year, but I guess global warming is getting to us. We only average 11 feet a year, now.
For what it's worth.
You people be careful.

Seems like it all goes south at the wrong time, eh? You never miss the power and other things, that is, until you no longer have them available to you.

And people are afraid of our little earth quakes. I'll take an earth quake any time over those tornadoes.
Don and Cary
I'll be happier when Im on the road fulltime so I can try and stay clear of everything except sunshine and beautiful women )
