Title: fuel tank Size
Post by: jaybe_2 on November 26, 2006, 05:52:56 PM
I have a 1985 Prevost XL. I'm looking to find out how big the fuel tank is. I have tried to measure it through the access hole but had no luck, could not get the tape down the side.

Jay unless someone removed the infomation plate, wipe the road grime off it should be on the top right of the tank, the gallons will be stamped on that plate.

Could you cal prevost with the VIN and get the info Faxed?  I did this with Gulfstream with our old Tow behind because the capacities placard with weights was missing.  they have the info for each unit they produce (Each weigh different due to options) by vin.  Maybe this wouold work for you?

FWIW,

Jim

Jaybe - save yourself some time and trouble - Prevost keeps detailed records on their units - call them w/ your VIN# at (418) 883-3391 -while your at it open an account for parts and give them your info for updates, recalls, invites, etc... - HTH
