I broke one of the sight windows on the oil hubs on my MC-5C. Stemco was totally useless at getting a part number for me. Does anyone know the part number to order for that little sucker? It is 2.75" in diameter and .190" thick at the edge, with a standard fill plug hole in the middle.
Thanks, Brian
Brian; I bought two new hub covers complete last week at truck pro for around $10 each for the 98 XLE: sort of shocked at low price. Included new gasket's Bob
www.ryderfleetproducts.com (http://www.ryderfleetproducts.com) I don't think they service the plastic part only the plug so many different models to choose from I would replace both, the plastic get hard and brittle sooner or later the other side will break as Bob said they are cheap at truck supply places
Well, I got somewhere. I found a Stemco PDF with dimensions on it, and the MCI front hub dimensions are 6 on 6" bolt circle, 3/8" bolts, and the Stemco part number is 343-4080, which crosses to the MCI part number 15C240 and 15002400. Around $35 at Ryder, thanks for the link. The window kit is 359-5999 for the 2.75" window, which is what the hubs I already have need. So I will just need to source a window kit, and that is a lot easier with a part number!

For those that have a later Prevost and MCI.
The Stemco window that measures roughly 3.60" The repair kit is 359-5912 The complete replacement hub cap seal assy is part number 343-4249..
Clifford these are the correct ones for your 2002/2204 H3.. Fleetpride has them cheaper than Ryder.. I think that I paid $27 for the complete unit.
FYI, the RED plug is part number 359-5915 For those that have weathered plugs.
