98 prevost 45 xl,,,, What is the small alternator on the fan???? there is also a relay like fords use on the wall above the engine---- the small red wire is cut or broken??? Just wondering what its for?

Is the coach converted and if so who did the conversion? Also a picture of both items would be helpful.

I think but not for sure you are talking about the fan clutch it has a black and red wire ran to it
