I was hoping someone could refer me to a mechanic in the conroe,tx area that could help get my 4104 running. I have tried everything,it will start on a sneeze of gas but wont stay running.. Please help!
Paul if it will start on gas you probably not getting fuel. If you can locate the fuel filter you can check to see if it's full of fuel,if not you can use a garden sprayer with diesel fuel in it,attach a hose to the fuel inlet on filter and to the sprayer wand, pump the sprayer and fill the filter and engine ( the eng. will self prime) it should run . The 4104 I had also had an electric fuel shut-off on it,and I think it was on the fuel piping mounted on the body up above the fuel filter. Check to make sure you have power to it when ign. switch is on with a test light. HTH. Glen
