hi guys any tricks on drainig coolant from 8v71 replacing hoses and thermostats also flushing rads
My 5C has a drain plug on the lowest coolant tube leading towards the water pump.

Mine doesn't have a convenient plug. I remove a hose that is low and let it drain in a pan.

When you refill, if you do it slowly and give the water time to settle down thru all of the lines, you can avoid having an air lock somewhere. :)
Most should all have a drain plug at the bottom of the oil cooler on a 71 or 92 series or on the connection to it
thanks guys found drain at lower rad tube , all done new thermo stats and all new hoses
Make sure you open the tap on the cross-over tube between the two thermostat housings to let the air out. You will probably find it takes a while for the coolant level to settle down as the air works it's way out of the engine. You may have to bleed the driver's heater at the front of the bus if you got air in that system.
