Can you believe the local Williams Detroit place does not have my oil filter in stock?
And also no straight 40 wt oil. I got the impression they're working mostly on newer motors and can't be bothered.
I'm not too worried about the oil, since I got 9 gals during the recent O'Reilley's sale, but rather than wait a week for DD to order in the filter, can anyone tell me the corresponding Fram, AC, etc oil filter, so I can go to Fleet Pride?
Thanks in advance.

Hi Mike,
You can get the filter at most any auto parts store. I get mine at either NAPA or Carquest.
Just take the number off the old and they can cross reference. I get all my filters at those locations.

NAPA will be a 1970 filter.

And they always have it in stock.
My spin on oil filter is Luber-Finer LFP911. I get them at the local Freightliner dealer, also the authorized Detroit Diesel dealer.
Good luck, Sam
