For those who are maintaining their own coaches and need oil for a change or just to carry for spares, O'Reilly's has rotella oil, straight and multi weights on sale for $12.99 per gallon, that is $5 per gallon off retail price. They did not stock my straight 40 wt but ordered it in and was available the next day. The sale goes off March 29 in case you need some time to aquire funds even at this rate from say a bank robbery, wife's piggy bank, etc!!!

Sounds like a bargain! Just ordered three cases (cases come in 3 one gallon jugs.) I'll have some left over.

we purchase Rotella T 15W-40 from Sams Club for less, but we get 4 pallets, 40 cases each, 160 cases and 6 gal a case, that lasts us about 6-8 weeks. Sell used oil to refiner, takes care of the beloved EPA :(

Just paid the same price for Delo 100 40 wt. at O'reilly's a week or so ago.
Tried to get some in SoCal and they are telling me they don't have straight 40 in stock and the warehouse doesnt have any either so they cant order it for me :(

Somebody's being lazy. Try a different branch, or find a local petroleum distributor.
FWIW & HTH. . .
;)
If you're in So Cal, there are oil distributors in the commercial port areas that sell oil in bulk (bring your own bucket). Some make their own oil and sell for cheap. I'll report later this week as to price when I take my 5gal bucket to be refilled with 40 weight CF2. Good Luck, TomC
Just purchased 7 gallons of delo 100 40w for 12.99 from oriellys. They first called corporate who said they do not carry straight 40w. Showed them their own website and they searched the entire west coast inventory and found only seven gallons!
Thanks for the heads up
Grant
I gave them the code number, they called it in to Phoenix and they had it in Yuma the next morning.
Grant their is a chevron Distributor in Rocklin. They generally have it or can get it in less than a couple of days. Last time was about 13.10 a gallon IIRC.

Dave, will they sell to retail folks?
Thanks
Grant
Man I live in no where land and Doyle went to my little parts house on the corner because he wanted to change from the 100 back to Rotella they guy got him 18 gals overnight or next day and a place like O'Reillys trouble getting it the, world and the national stores never cease to amaze me you can buy delo 100 in about every O'Reillys in Tx off the self
Here were I live the counter help is so dumb if they have Delo 400 on sale like they do now for 11.99 a gal you can tell them you want 40w and they order in Delo 100 w and sell it for the same as the 100 it just confuses the clerk on why the computer has a different price
I don't look at as being dishonest I didn't hire the guy or women all I do is ask for 40w
Rob,
Thanks, just bought three cases from my local OR.
Funny, he said he didn't carry it and couldn't order. After quite a bit of discussion he finally found it was available after all!!

Tom, any news where one could go to get a few gallons of CF-2? Have you gone there yet?
Southern Counties Lubricants in Orange has Delo 100 in stock, but their prices aren't the lowest.
Thanks, John
Grant yes they always have in the past.

Also you can go to Northgate blvd. NAPA and go to the back. Talk to Bill in Heavy parts. He can get Most oil brands to include Rotella T 40 and Delo 100. Call there and ask for Bill in Heavy.
