Title: Eagle's Eagle sold at Auction
Post by: Bus Busted on March 13, 2013, 11:46:25 AM
Looks like I'm the new owner of Eagle's (JBC's) 1985 Eagle. Someone in TN really wanted it, but I had bought all the spare parts for it from Eagle last year so I was willing to go a little more. I still have the 1984 Eagle Model 10 that I will be keeping and the 1986 MCI 102A3 that has to go (3's a crowd). I will be looking to part out or sell the MCI soon so if you have a need you might drop me a line. I would like to again thank Eagle for all the help with my 1st Eagle, the parts he sold me at a great price, and the heads up that it was finally being sold before it grew roots at CoPart, KY.

For those of you with 2 buses (RV's), do you have both with the same insurance company? Or is it better to have 2 different companies because 2 looks like you're a fleet owner and not a vacation RV owner. And we know they don't like anything that looks fishy...

I have my usable AMGeneral transit that was converted 13 years now and am still using it. I'm also in the process of converting my '85 Kenworth cabover. Both are insured with Progressive with no problems. I just had to prove (to both DMV and the insurance company) that it was being converted into a motorhome. It is now registered as a motorhome. Good Luck, TomC

All three buses insured with Farm Bureau.  It's been my experience that rates and service are better when you give one carrier as much business as possible.  So far (more than 30 years) they have never refused me coverage on anything I've asked - including converted buses.
