Now that I have an auto shutoff valve for my fresh tank, I'm beginning to enjoy winter.

Suggested to my by several members of the board, one of which was Robert Glines. It's a stock tank float valve. Here's the thread where I showed photos of how I installed it:

Scott,
That looks a lot like the ones we use on our stock tanks down here in Texas.
Ps.
Your coach looks cold.

Scott,
I keep waiting on you to put windows in that bus.......

Looks like Scott needs to go to Tractor Supply and buy the tank de- icer to go with the shut off 78 degrees, bright sun and no wind life is good in AZ
Cliff! Keep rubbing it in. :) our
Luggage bays are heated :) no tank freezing here. Bus is cold, but inside we keep it at 73. Trust me, it's toasty in here. And yes, windows....we are scared of EMP storms lol :-)

Why? To see the gray skies better? More heat loss up here in the tundra. You wouldn't believe how secure we feel when parked in a questionable area knowing the only way into the coach is forty feet away from us...and our guns are less than 4 feet away. That being said, yes we are putting windows in. But our coach is not a cave. Ask Sean. He and Angie and the kiddos visited us and they can tell you our 9 inch roof raise and excellent lighting make it very very airy in there. No one believes us until they come inside. Then, they all tell us they kinda like the privacy and don't miss the windows. True story. We've heard several times from visitors who are not just trying to be polite.

ah put some windows in and add to global warming like the rest of us dave

Hey Scott what's the total height in bus after roof raise?

Its definitely not a cave. All the wood inside makes it like a comfy log cabin. Very nice. And a refrigerator that you could keep a whole deer in. For Scott's style of travel (just the 2 of them and camped in one spot for months at a time) windows aren't high on the priority list. With all the kids we have running around, they'd go crazy without windows.

11' 9" But, adding the 7 inches of the Coleman rooftop A/C brings it to 12' 4"
And thanks Sean :) Miss you guys. We'l have to connect again!
Scott,
Let me know when you are going to do your windows. We can meet up and do them together. I am ready for some RV windows in this bus and it would be fun to share the adventure with you.
