Oh wow. Not a good time for the grand old EAGLE. The SILVER EAGLE site is down too. But I don't think much has been going on in that place for quite some time and that's ashame.

It's nothing to be alarmed about Jim and Dale will have it going soon,Milton more goes there than on the BNO we have sections only EI members can see

I for one never knew we were even with GoDaddy  I don't when that happen or if it happened

I was talking about the SILVER EAGLE BUS manufacturing site. Sorry about the misunderstanding.

Did a little checking and we own the domain through 2014.

I checked the server and it is up.  Indeed, the main page will load.  I am pretty sure there is an sql database and it needs to be re-indexed.  Dale is pretty good at getting these things done in a timely fashion.

As CrabbyMilton points out, our site is not in any way related to the Silver Eagle Bus company/site.

Dale just posted on EI that the domain did expire.  It was set for auto-renewal, but somehow that did not work.  He had renewed it by the time I did my "whois" search.

LeRoy, unfortunately, a DNS failure happens too often with EI (and other sites).   Each internet provider uses a DNS service to covert your www address into a site location on the internet.  Some of the DNS services don't have EI in their database.

When I was using Hughes Net (satellite) they had their own DNS and getting on EI was often a challenge.  Eric B uses Wild Blue and that causes a problem sometimes.  I was in a hotel in Atlanta this week and their service used a DNS service that did not have EI in their database.

The solution is to use a known DNS service that has EI in their database.  One of them is:  http://www.freeproxyserver.ca/ (http://www.freeproxyserver.ca/).  After it loads up you type in the EI address and you should be able to get on.
