Lived in Watertown, Massachusetts February 1968. Weekend storm produced 42" total. You got a way to go to get there. I got ticketed for "Shoveling snow on a plowed street." it was at my Father-In-Laws house in Lexington. Story is to long for here. I empathize with your shoveling needs to extract your bus from the grips of old man winter.

Be safe and keep warm!
Title: Your Un---Happy Bus Conversion Also Looks...Very Cold!

How are the carbon based units, (if any) doing INSIDE, (people) the unhappy Bus Conversion?  We once got 39" of snow....overnight.  Also not happy.  Good luck...and remain....happy!  HB of CJ (old coot) SW OR :)  (Crown Supercoaches also do not like snow...it makes them, (also) unhappy.

Bruce, it's a new experience for that bus to be outside (don't worry, Jack will be watching over it).  April in York, then on to the American Music Theater.

The carbon based units are snug and warm in the adjacent house! The bus is cold and winterized. It's a very unhappy bus because the PO kept it in a heated garage for 20 years and those days are gone!

We have a big Nor'easter going on, 40mph winds and between 1-2' of snow , the bus will look quite different in the morning I think.

Chuck I'm sure Jack (PO) is having fits right now, I think about him all the time when I'm working on the bus.

Brad, yes, I heard they went out in anything.....but the old girl hasn't seen this in quite a few years!

Well, this is what it looks like this morning. 24-28" total, many drifts over 4'. Biggest storm we have had in a long time.

And people say we're crazy for living in Los Angeles. It will be in the mid 60's today. You can have the winter snow, summer heat and humidity. Good Luck, TomC

Tom,

You don't HAVE to be crazy to live in Los Angles, but there are plenty of them there. Case in point is the rogue former cop that is on a rampage now. I grew up in the San Bernardino area and it was bad enough then. I left for Minnesota the day after I graduated from school in '62 and have only been back for family visits since. Family is the only thing I miss about California. On some of my visits the smog was so bad I questioned the sanity of everyone living there. Probably better now with CARB. I sure don't miss the so called freeways that become the worlds largest parking lots either. I could go on but you get the picture. I enjoy the four seasons here and have never minded the winter snow and cold. The large snow falls, like the east received recently, are rare here and we are equipped to deal with them. It's a balmy 32 here today, and it feels like spring. Enjoy your 60s temps.

Good luck, Sam
