I seem to have run out of fuel. We need some kind of help. We have. No heat and Need to move on. My number is 315-710-1949
I'm in Columbia. I have a doctor appointment at 11, but may be able to come down after that. I'm not much of a mechanic but I'm willing to come get in the way if I can! I'll call or recheck the forum after my appointment.

Could also be jelled fuel, I have had cheap fuel jell at 18f and let me sit, of course running out of fuel is a hard lesson to keep fuel in the tank, also filters? with the DDC engine there are very few issues for not running and acting like fuel, one rare one is the blower dog bone wore out and not turnng the blower & fuel pump, so one never knows, just be prepared I guess.

Have you checked to see if you have fuel?.....
The diesel's I have owned where bad about not starting after changing fuel filters.
Had to prime the system to get her running again. My cummin's diesel had a primer pump next to the fuel filter.
Little red rubber covered button that we had to press several times to get the fuel up to the pump.
Best of luck........
See by your last on line time you must have gotten help. The only time I did need help and had no one near; I called 911 and operator had referance for local mechanic that brought me fuel and helped me get going. I now am more self prepared but still would use as back-up plan. Bob
Take a hard look at Coach Net road service for the future.>>>Dan
Please don't use 911 unless it is for a fire, accident, or medical emergency. It is not intended to be used for flat tires or running out of fuel! You can call information and get the non-emergency business number for the local police.
Just get Coach-net. Or an equivalent. Cheapest thing I ever bought for my bus, even though I've never actually used it for my bus... So far the return on that investment is about 200% in my favor.

I just renewed my Coach-Net last week. I think $129 for the Gold package. Running out of fuel once would about cover that cost.
To clarify:I said last resort. I was at end of list and the operator transferred me to Sheriff office and they helped me out. On a Interstate you are a danger! and are in danger. You can limp off with a bad tire. Just live to bus another day.. Sometimes no one else answers the phone. Bob
You have always been able to use 911 if you pose a danger to yourself or others like a bus out of fuel in the middle of I 10 or I 17 they will transfer you to the right party that is why they ask what type of emergency not a thing wrong with what you did Bob
Sorry I did not get back here We were finally able rp get moving I' not sure it was a fuel issue we found a hose had also come off. And once reconnected we are all. Set. THANKS FOR ALL BUS NUTS. for their support
Speaking from experience I know it is a scary thing to be stuck on the side of the freeway - cars, trucks flashing by. Very glad you are all safe & the big rig is moving again. Thanks for taking the time to update us.
Kind Regards, Phil
