Those wiser than me,
Has anyone out there built a low profile, full width & length drawer. One or 2 times a year I go to trade shows with my 4104. i end up transporting a couple hundred pounds of portable dog kennels and canopy's. I am trying to figure a way of accessing the equipment instead of crawling into the bay.

Not in my bus, but in my travel trailer. There was a bed across the entire front of the travel trailer. Underneath with a storage compartment accessible from only one side.
I built a storage tray about 30" wide by about 60" by about 6" tall. I used heavy duty ball bearing slides by Accuride that cost between $250 and $300. I think I bought them through Rockler.
If you google Joeybed I think you'll find what your looking for. Buy copy etc.....

Joeybed is a nice idea, but it does take away a few inches of storage space. If that doesn't bother you, then fine.
I use big plastic bins on rollers and just lock them in with a simple ratchet strap. Don't loose any height. Good Luck, TomC

If you get a chance to take a picture or have one to share it would be grand. My 04 is maintained by me. Someone else maintains my other bus. So lower costs help a lot.

Drawers take up a lot of vertical space, something not in excess in a 4104 anyway.
The best thing is moderately smooth floors so things slide in and out easily. Plywood is good.
Unfortunately, most seem to be covered with carpets which like to hold moisture and cause corrosion.
My 5C came from the PO with nice, big drawers on slides. Nice to just pull them out to get stuff out. But after the first summer, I got them out of there. They took up a good 3 to 4 inches of vertical space, and were very heavy. So much nicer without them. I'll give them away to anyone who comes to my place. They are too heavy to ship.

My storage bay is stock. No carpeting, a gas line and some wires in the ceiling other than the tunnel in the frame. I just need something simple for the dog exercise pens: 2' wide, 4' long, 5" thick when folded up and about 25#'s each. 6 of those. 2-6' tables, 2 canopies. Think tradeshow or swapmeet. Need to make loading and unloading easier and get maximum stuff hauled.
I dont have to move the equipment from the Husky Camp bus to the 04 until April.

Simplify ! Movers use a big cardboard box called a gondola that is about 2 ft wide, 2 ft high and 4 ft long. They can be rolled around with a standard furniture dolly and will slide on the bare cargo floor.
If that does not fit dimensions of your stuff, you can create your own custom gondolas from the boxes refrigerators or mattresses are shipped in (triple layer corrugated).
I turn these upside down to use as display tables. if you don't mistreat them or soak them for prolonged periods they last a long time. I have some stuff stored outside in gondolas covered by tarps that have lasted over 6 years.
it's not fancy. it works. It's cheap. It's recycled & recyclable.
