I am looking for a macerator pump that does not cost $250 or more. Is there a quality one out there for $100-$150 range online? It will be through a 75' garden hose from my black/grey combo tank.
We had some good posts with pictures last year on using a garbage disposer for a macerator unit with good results. Should be able to access the info on a search or others will shortly chime in.
I do not have time to build one. Looking for pre made.
Series # 18590 Self Priming Macerator Pump
The plastic intake end will fit a 3" sewer hose. Mine has the pipe end cut off. I've been using it for 12 years.

Is this a good price for it?

How do I hook that one up to my black tank? I was looking at one like this
The Jabsco pump shown is designed to be permanently installed with ABS pipe in a marine application where the tanks are a bit harder to get at.

I get mine on ebay, and I get the 24 volt macerator pump for they are far superior to the 12 volt ones.

We have a 12v one that, like the picture above, bayonet mounts to the disposal fitting. We have used it a bunch of times, and it works great. I still prefer direct gravity dumping, but if that is not possible we have a backup.
I have destroyed 2 of the Flow/Jet the newer ones have plastic brush holders in the motor and if you run it to long the holder melts and it doesn't runs anymore
Flow/Jet replaced the unit the first time free so now I have 2 pcs of junk that no longer work and they won't sell me the holder only a complete motor for over a 100 bucks
good luck
