FWIW I bought 2 drums of the Castrol Assuron 1 40w and 1 50w for 100 bucks a barrel and 12- 6 pack gal cases for 23 bucks each from Valley Metro in Phoenix check your local transit operator in your area they sell it cheap to get rid of it in most cases cost them to much to dispose of it
FWIW for all that worry about the ash and Delo 100 guys the Castrol Assuron is .80 ash content

Will transit operators still give stuff like this away? The EPA is pushing cradle to grave pretty hard these days. Companies once they purchase certain chemicals are responsible for them until they are recycled, or otherwise legally disposed of. If they sell surplus chemicals they could be held liable if the stuff is not disposed of properly.
A guy I ran into was selling some oxidizers he got for free. A university in Alaska contacted him saying they would give him a semi load of drums of oxidizer if he paid the shipping charges. He declined because he had a large inventory already. The university contacted him later and said they would cover shipping all the way to his place in California if he took it. He was willing to take the stuff for free of course. It would have cost $25,000 to have a hazmat disposal company get rid of the oxidizer versus maybe $5,000 to give it away.
Hi sommersed, where did you get it in Pahrump? Do you know address? Couldn't find any in LV. Lvmci...
Try Service Oil Distributors in Vegas they sell Mobil,Texaco,Shell and Petro-Canada in 40w
Belfert, the transit co's do require you to fill out a End-User Affidavit for the EPA fwiw
Clifford, they sell Petro-Canada's 40W in Vegas? Is it the Dieseltonic? If so, it is a very good oil, specifically made for 2 stroke DDs.
JC
Yea they do JC only problem is buying it by the barrel then again a barrel is just 6 oil changes with a little left for the in between usage, it is real popular in the San Diego area you see in bottles there at the marinas at least it was at the Sun Roads Marina
Thanks Clifford, I've been geting 76/conoco 40w but last time they raised the ash level from when I first bought it, don't like shell, will try mobil/exxon or petro if can't find delo, tom, lvmci...

I get mine on special order through NAPA. I think NAPA is almost everywhere now.
O' Reilly's can get in in cases of 3 one gallon bottles...or in singles... I paid $12.99/gal for it a few weeks ago.....
