Title: MCI MC8 looking to replace the rear cap.
Post by: Oregonconversion on October 18, 2012, 12:47:22 PM
Where would I go to get the rear cap updated to a more modern look? Also what would the price be? Under or over $1000?

What's it made of? If it's fibreglass you could create any look you wanted with a bit of foam, 'glass and resin. I built front and rear caps from scratch to accommodate the roof-raise on my bus, and definitely spent a lot less than $1000 (fair amount of work though).

Here's the rear cap (with openings for lights etc)

R&M Fiberglass makes some of the popularly used roof caps:

Or, roll your own like Jeremy did.
