Title: Bus conversion magazine.
Post by: superiormotors on October 15, 2012, 04:40:32 PM
Did everyone get your hard copy of the mag? I'm still waiting for mine. Just curious if more people are waiting besides me. I had a ear and a half left on a 2 year subcribtion when the trouble started. I emailed Kellie and still waiting for a response.

Part of the issue here is the US Post Office.  It seems some got their magazine more than a week ago and some just got their magazine today.  Magazine delivery has no guaranteed delivery time.

My parents mailed out a non-profit newsletter for a few years and delivery times were all over the map.

Maybe what they should do is send all active members a free copy to try and see if the magazine is better to try get the subscriptions back! The last few copies I received were pretty slim and after those, I'd be a little cautious about spending and taking a chance on the content!
Just saying...

Is it worth taking the chance on one, the content and two, for how long?

I was barely half way through a 2 year subscription when they stopped coming and haven't seen a new one in my mailbox yet. Been on the mailing list since the mid 90's. Wait and see if they make good or vanish. Gerry H

I haven't seen mine yet but then I only talked to Kellie last week or so finally getting me squared around. It seems as though after several years I was still not on the database.

I am ever hopeful to see the mag again.....and continue seeing it.

Let me state once more for the record that I will pay another dollar or so per year to keep receiving the printed version if that is what it takes to get a quality mag to my door.

I have received a lot of emails this past couple weeks.  I thought I responded to them.  If for some reason I did not, will you please email me again.  My goal is to get everyone their magazine, so please email me kellie@busconversions.com.  Also, the November issue went to the editor and should be going to print in the next couple days.  I will keep you updated.  Thanks everyone!

This is like kids reports of Santa stopping at their place on Christmas coming in from all over the country and I'll bet we all have the same expression just for a second upon seeing our shiny new magazine!

I just received mine today. Good job, Kelly and crew. I am impressed.

As far as content, one idea would be to contact Anja and see if she can write a "last chapter" to what happened to her bus and engine upgrade, and what she did with her engine and bus.

Thanks,

John

Welcome aboard, Rich. Glad to hear that you are doing well, and that your bus is doing fine ;D. We always enjoy having cheery newcomers.

Why don't you start a new topic and tell us some more about yourself/what kind of bus you have (if you have one)/what area of the country, that type of thing.

I am sure Kellie will get you taken care of. If you have the right email address, then she is VERY prompt at replying. I wouldn't always rely on contact forms working, because they can have a lot of issues (I know from the business side of having a website). I would try sending her a personal message on this board. She should see that.

We are typically a nice bunch here on the board. Glad to have you along. There is a wealth of knowledge on here too...Some is good, some isn't ;D

Cheers,

John

Magazine arrived in the post this day in Toronto, Ontario!

Will you be adding the expiry month of our subscriptions on the mailing label?

Will we be building back up to the sealed mailer we had grown quite fond of so it arrives in pristine shape?
Many, if not all of us, want it to arrive in good shape and will pay.

Thank you for resuscitating the mag again!

happy coaching!

Rich, if you haven't done so already, email me at kellie@busconversions.com and I will check your subscriptions.  I am getting emails from subscribers saying they are receiving their magazines as late as yesterday.  We are working on getting to the printer earlier to account for this, but this month there was just too much to do.

Glad It arrived.  Yes, we will include the expiration date on the next issue.  This is the first I have heard of a sealed mailer, but I will inquire about it.

Everybody else, I am glad you ahave received your magazine.  Anybody who hasn't, please email me at the above address.  Seeing you guys excited and happy about the magazine is what makes my job worthwhile  :)

Title: Re: Bus conversion magazine.
Post by: boxcarOkie on October 22, 2012, 02:51:36 PM
A mother was talking with her doctor about removing her son's tonsils.  She asked him, "While he is in the hospital, under antetheseia (sp.), could you also circumcise him, he never has had it done, and we always wanted to do that."  The doctor assured her it would be possible, and they would do it.

Several days later, the same boy was playing with his friend in the backyard, and his friend said to him, "Tommie, didn't you get your tonsils out a week or so ago?" and Tommy replied, "Yes.  Why do you ask?" and the other kid said to him, "Well, my mama says that I have to have mine taken out too.  And I was wondering?"

Tommie said, "Oh?" and then looked him straight in the eye and said, "You better get ready, 'cause they aint anywhere where you thought they would be!"

Please help. Bob
Title: Re: Bus conversion magazine.

To Bob, and everyone else who has not yet received the October Issue of Bus Conversion Magazine.
If you still have not received your magazine, email me at kellie@busconversion.com with your current address and I will verify your name, address and expiration date in our database. I will email each of you back individually with my findings.
If everything is up to date in our database we will mail you the October issue of the magazine First Class this week at our expense and will also include free of charge, the E-magazine for the November issue so you will get a heads-up for what is in that issue.
If we cannot verify your name, address and expiration date, I will email you back with our findings and we will work out a solution. There have been problems in the past with Standard USPS deliveries which is beyond our control, but we want to ensure everyone gets their magazine that has a valid paid up subscription.
If you receive your Standard Delivery October issue after we mail you the First class issue, please keep it but also let us know what day you received it so we will have that info in our records and track those problems and we will determine if we can find a solution.

Thank you for your patience.
Kellie

Van would love too but unfortunately it won't be this year. It is 9.9 hours one way from Roseville Cali. which normally wouldn't be a problem but the bus is up on blocks and I took all the brake valves out and am replacing them and TW can not climb the steps yet with the foot and ankle not fully healed. So you's guys have fun and we will be there in the future no doubt.
