Title: Advice on a Nashville converter for shower install?
Post by: pickpaul on September 14, 2012, 10:56:22 PM
I'm looking at a 12 bunk entertainer that I'd want to convert to a star format by removing the rear set of bunks and installing a shower on one side and a second toilet on the other and convert the rear lounge into a bedroom. I'd want it done professionally and to match the rest of the interior. Any recommendations on a good place to take it and any guess on cost?

Thanks, Paul.

P.S. The original conversion was by Nashville Coach. Would they be a good candidate? Expensive?

I'll bet that the work you want done will cost towards $50,000.00 to be done professionally.  Good Luck, TomC

They quoted $35,000 for the work. $10,000 for just a shower install which is all I really need short term.

Paul - You could probably get any qualified carpenter and plumber to do the work for you.  Seems a little much to pay 10k for a shower.  We have an RV repair place here in Wilmington that quoted 90/hr and with all the parts and pieces we would have needed to order they estimated about 5.5k for a complete bathroom install.
