Title: Traded my 4106
Post by: desi arnaz on September 14, 2012, 06:17:55 AM
I traded my 4106 to a guy who claimed he wanted it for his family,it has a blown head and I Didint want to screw with it. He then put it up for sale, keep in mind a blown head over three million miles on her and rotted rear tires. http://nh.craigslist.org/rvs/3269124752.html (http://nh.craigslist.org/rvs/3269124752.html)

ROFL. That is so funny, in a sad way. The way some people operate is just rough. Thanks for the link. I didn't know you had that much invested in it :o.

Whew

The listing should probably be flagged since you know it is fraudulent.

I suspect Thomas is mostly upset because the seller appears to have posted a whole bunch of lies in an attempt to sell the bus.  The seller could have purchased new tires and repaired the bad head, but did he/she?  How is the seller going to provide all these receipts to a buyer unless Thomas gave them to him as part of the sale?

Really is a shame. Someone needing a handicap lift, will probably get scammed on this, sad. Karma will get him in the end.

Also the tranny and engine were rebuilt 46 k ago by gem.i figure if it did revenue service for ten years it has a minimum of 1.8million. The figure on the tires is because I put a new hubometer on 127 miles ago. The rear tires are all cracked and checked. The bus sits 2. Miles from my house as he had me drive her with many gallons of antifreeze in the crankcase to get. Her to the used car lot.

Someone should call him and ask if the engine needs any work.
Also there is no propane heat and the Sebastopol is not hooked up and I have never been able to keep it running for more than five minutes.my favorite thing about that bus was that lift as I used it t o go to home depot or the dump or to pick up briarwood.i Didint want to invest anymore in her as I am getting a divorce and will be moving soon I will most likeli gravitate towards an airstream next.

Interesting, Thomas. Thanks for the background. The guy sounds like a total nightmare.

Sorry to hear about your divorce. Those are always rough. Hope you are doing okay.

If I had stayed single and relied on Internet porn and hookers I would ov been $300,000 ahead of the game.

Tom,

Do you know why a divorce is so expensive?

Because they're worth it.

Been there done that. Lost the wife, the company, and someone shot my dog with a handgun under the kids' swing set. That's what happens when you marry the wrong person.

Hang in there.
