This will be our first year sure would like to meet some of you. Jerry
Hi, we always like going to Quartzsite, what are the dates this year? Some busnutsb like to boondock on the southeast corner of I10 & 95, lvmci...
Watch for the posting of the Eagle,GM rally and this year my understanding is the Flx people will be back it all happens in Jan all bus folks are welcome it happens every year about the same time as the Big Event Rv show.
Good rally for it being your 1st time they a great group of people you can see some beautiful buses all in 1 spot almost every brand ever made
I do know they are working on the entertainment and food right now just plan on the same dates as the Big Event Show you won't be a day off
good luck
This year will be the 19th thru the 27th of Jan.. It will be my 17th year.>>>Dan ( See you at the GM rally, Rice ranch south)
Same date as the rv Big Event tent
good luck
this will be my sixth year in Quartzsite. I am in Arizona from the end of October to the middle or end of March. We have a gospel tent setup on the west end of town from the 7th of January through the end of the month.
I make it if my work schedule allows...

Well if the Flex's will be there, I'm for sure going to show up.
Git ready! ;D
Yep Van nice bunch and they make a mean omelet and their buses are amazing
We should be there again too.
We be there too.
We will be there again.
Western GM rally dates are Jan 17,18,19 - 2013 Posted in their News Letter dated Sept 2012.
I will be serving as "Wagon Master" for Western GM this year so needless to say,,, I'll be there.
Can anybody help me get in touch with Sonnie Gray from the Eagles?
Sure 903-815-2141 or call me if you have trouble reaching him and I'll tell him to give you a ring Mikey
good luck
Thanks Clifford,
I've called that number several times but only get a voicemail recording. I also sent him a couple of emails but no reply as of now. Any help would be appriciated. We're trying to decide what tasks WGM or Eagles wish to tackle so we can publish a rally notice.
He goes to the cafe about 8 am every morning just remember the 2 hrs difference in time neither one of us are very good about returning voice mails or emails hell I don't even have voice mail on my phone lol but I'll tell him you are trying to reach him Mikey
As always, thanks for your help.
Sonnie and I have talked about this a month or so ago, but I'll try again in the morning. I think there is only one hour time difference btw TX and UT.
Could be just 1 hr between the 2 but I live in the GREAT state of AZ and we don't do the time thing like most states
Sonnie was working on Randy trying to get him to do all the planning and being the "Wagon Master" for the Eagles part I haven't heard how that is working out lol
good luck
We will make our third trip to the Q this year looking forward to telling someone he can't have my Jeep :D ::)
Darn it!!!
Because this is our first time we would like to find a mentor to show us the ropes. We have a MCI 102 A 3. We have 125 gals of water 12 kw gen a 4000 wat inverter and are looking for the best solar place. Maybe there. And are members or of South East Bus Nuts
Not to worry , you have the basic's make sure your fresh water is full and your black& gray tanks are empty. you will be amazed how much help will be there. 8)
Hi there's so much sun there it makes Vegas look shady, we bought a $125 briefcase solar panel (at the time) for $60 in the big tent, please drive in and enjoy the camaraderie, lvmci...
This sure sounds like a good time...gonna note it on the calendar ;)
Yea mike your only 2 hours from there, it is a hoot to see all them Bus's in one spot 8)
Which spot was that again? ;D
Hey Van I could show up and bring Michael and Christi's generator to park next to your bus ::) :o ;D
Melbo
Doh! ;D Just so long as ya show up ;D
Hi Van, Rice ranch south east corner @ I10 & AZ95, Az better than US95 in Ca, at least it was last year. 95 from Boulder, Cut over I40 at Needles to Az95. No on/off ramp from I10 at this corner in Quartzsite, hope to see you there, lvmci...
Hi Tom! Oh we have been there a few times, the first time, we toasted the engine ;D but made it down there in the truck. The following year made it down there in the bus.

After an engine swap, we made it down there in the bus and had a swell time! Last year I just strolled down to pick up our ( new ta us ) seats from ( can I have your jeep ;D) Andy. This year, we are still pluggin away at the ol' Eagle, it is running swell but need to replace a few hyd lines for the rad fan motor, I am husslin to git it all done by that time and hope to be there.
hoping to be there...
Van 8)
Yep if Van makes its 1/2 way he knows where the mid way stage stop is located if he has problems lol so does the big Red Truck
I already have first dibs on the jeep Van! ;D
Ok ok ya got me Ed! ;D I already have my eye on a nice lil' Black jeep to tow behind the Iggle ;) aye Clifford ;D ;D Don't know how I keep ending up with this Red/Black combo all the time! ??? ;D
My wife and I are planning to visit Quartzsite on Saturday. We won't be driving our bus due to a minor logistics problem. Cant find a babysitter for my dogs and cant escape a previous obligation. I have so many dogs they have their own bus when we travel.
Back to basics, what sites do we hit? Western GM is on my list as we are a member but no one from the group has seen/met us yet. I of course will be looking for PD 4104's.
What else is there to see?
In 2 years we will start to hit rallys, by then we will have retired from our various volunteer organizations.
Siberyd
We will be there again. Hope our house doesn't burn down again.
We will be in the area, will stop in and join the group.
We are leaving Yuma for Quartzsite on Monday Jan 14. See you there soon!!
There will be 2 MCIs and a Newell headed up from Yuma on Wednesday. ;D
Two Eagles heading up from Yuma wednesday.

The rally is at Rice Ranch....southeast corner of the two major highways here. Just across the road from Gamblers RV store. Lots of buses/coaches here already, but room for more.
Mike (RedRider) is rallymaster. Boondocking here at Rice Ranch is $5 per nite. I think the rally fee is $20.
If/When you get here, we are in the 'front row'...an MCI7 with the Canadian Flag on the front. Stop and say Hi!!
Mark
I plan to be in the area next week. Not in my bus though. Hope some of you will still be there.
Headed for Barret Jackson this week. Leaving Helena Wed. AM. John M.
We had planned on being there, but unfortunately, my work has kept me traveling between El Paso and Juarez dealing with new sign systems we made for the border patrol. I truly can't wait to be finished with this project......can't stand these two places. One thing I am not fond of is having to wear a bullet proof vest and carry a firearm along with being accompanied by an armed guard to be escorted around.
I would give anything to be able to be with you folks and not be stuck in two of the biggest garbage dumps in America ;)
Have fun, be safe and have a beer on us!
Mike and Lori
Mike,
Did the no trespassing signs get upgraded?
Sorry to hear your busy this year, maybe we get to meet next year.
Siberyd
We are planning on making our first appearance at a bus rally. We will arrive Thur and have to leave later Fri, wondering are there any elec hookups available? Thanks, Craig
I believe the few sites that can get power are occupied. Bring flashlights and ice; have a good time!!
