Hey Guys,
I just got my '06 our of storage and all was good except for my drivers side bumperette. While in storage the bolt/rubber bumpers that hold it together decided to come apart. I looked at my shop manual and it says nothing about these little devices. So what are they and where do I get two more? Just for reference it was the smaller of the two that separated. Thanks for any help in getting me pointed in the right direction.
Cheers,
TM

good luck
Well Clifford you may not own a GM, but I'll bet that you know a slight bit more than most about them! Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
Cheers,
TM
When I had that problem on my GM 4106 I drilled 5/16" holes in the bracket, shown in the center picture, on the bumperette and put 5/16" bolts in the holes. I spot welded the bolt heads to the brackets, made spacers the same thickness as the rubber isolator from 1" round aluminum rod, and bolted the bracket to the bumperette. Then I bolted the bumperette to the compartment door. I don't know why the isolators were there anyway.
Or, you could call Luke at US Coach, 888-262-2434. He probably has new isolators in stock if Clifford's source doesn't.
Good luck, Sam

When it comes to GMs, the number to call first is always Luke @ 1-888-262-2434.
