Hey Boxcar,

No chance!  Heard it straight from the horse's mouth - when the Big Eagle is finished the "old eagle" will retire to the stables as a fishing bus.  Probably carp.

Well, I thought I would give it a shot.  When I get done with mine, I am gonna dig a hole in the backyard and make a storm cellar out of it.

Gary, To fund my retirement I am developing a new carp lure. I use a shingle and strap a chocolate covered popcorn fed chipmunk from Rocky Mountian National park to it. I let the wind carry the shingle out into the lake and with a little jerk I can dislodge the chipmunk. Carp go nuts for the little critters. The problem is carp can detect human flesh as little as 10 parts per million. All I can figure out is who ever is feeding them chocolate covered popcorn is not letting lose of it fast enough because the carp are spitting them out. Hope I  can find some with pure chocolate covered pocorn in them.

Pretty easy, early in just after Christmas, the official rally dates go the last three days of the year, and folks head out New Year's day for the most part.

Here's the website to watch:

Wayne, nice as your coach is, i don't think it would be a disaster to have to live in it thru december.  if you do make it to arcadia, we'll be waiting for you in our newer Eagle.  that's our plan right now.

Tom, I would love to be south the month of December but It has been a struggle finding the crews work. They helped me get to where I am so I told them I would help them get thru this. I just didn't think it would take this long. We are looking forward to seeing everyone. Did I read that correct is a new Eagle in your future?

nope, our 1991 is new enough.  other than we broke the door handle and my quck fix looks like crap, we're happy with what we have.  1991 is just "newer" than most Eagles.

and as some older Eagle owners have pointed out, that's not necessarily better.
