I need a new thermostat housing gasket for my 1986 6V92TA. This is in a V-drive Neoplan AN440. I think I can custom cut one, but I'd really rather buy one.

I've attached a photo, can anybody help me with a part number or source for this gasket?

Can he look this up without an engine serial number? My local DD dealer needs a serial number and between dirt and grease and rust, I can't find it yet.

 That is a tough gasket to find they come in the complete set if I was at home I could send it to you, cut you one is going to be the easy way out,most DD use the group 5.2001 to 5.2229 all have the same gaskets but that one is for the DDEC group  buy good gasket material and make you one and be done 

A old GM gasket may work they had a strange setup also

I checked the parts on PC Industries and DieselPro and they don't list the gasket call Don Fairchild @661-391-4525 he will have one probably left over from a set
