I don't know much about the Neoplan's but in Vegas @ Las Vegas Bus Sales (Northwest Bus) they have some Metroliners 1992 year model with ISM Cummins that were installed in 2003 these are low mileage buses 200 to 300,000 miles nice looking buses
Only draw back which is not really a problem is the 4 speed 700 series Allison behind the electronic engine a B400 would be better IMO
For under 20 grand it may be a good conversion shell for someone what say Sean the Neo expert and I have no association with the seller
good luck

Nice, I'll keep it in mind if I need a church bus.

Those are from the LADOT and don't have any rust I just posted for people looking I thought it was a decent price
I know Eagle owners that paid David at Southen Oregon twice that much to install the ISM in front of the 740 for their Eagles
They replaced all of the 6V92 in those buses in 2003 with the Cummins and series 60 DD they are American made with US parts
A friend bought one with the series 60 and B500 cheaper than he could buy a low mileage S 60 now he has all the parts to change his 6V92 in his Eagle
The Metroliners are nice coaches and make great conversion shells. That said, as with all Neoplans in the US, body parts, glass, and a handful of other parts (including manuals) are scarce and can get pricey when you find them. These Lamar-built coaches will have off-the-shelf running gear, though, so most suspension and driveline components should be easy to find. I have a Metroliner service manual, if anyone with one of these coaches gets in a jam.

I looked at Neoplan church bus of similar vintage, but of course not with a Cummins. One big drawback was tons of rust since that Neoplan used steel as a skin. It had so many issues I drove home without making any sort of offer.
