How bad could I get hurt buying a 1965 Eagle. It has had the factory windows skinned with 3 aftermarket windows added to each side. Front and rear fiberglass caps. Front area seating, middle area oak cabinets, 4 bunks and a finished rear section with stereo and television with VCR. Bus has had reworked belly storage and a Honda generator and 2 roof air conditioning units. It is 800 miles from me but was thinking of offering 5K for it. Any thoughts on this Thanks
Joey
I don't think anybody has answered because they don't have enough information. So much depends on the mechanical condition it could go either way. It might be great and then again you could end up spending that much many times again to make it stay on the road.

A 01 Eagle is not a highly sought after Eagle because of lack of suspension parts (none) check the suspension for adjustment left on the rear and pay close attention to the tag axle if the rear is real low then don't waste your money on a 50 year old bus it will cost you more in repairs than it is worth and I am a Eagle lover
Folks selling their 01 Eagle know exactly how much they are worth and there are some fine 01's out there but 5 grand won't touch one of those lol
