Title: How hard and how expensive is it to convert single oil cooler to double?
Post by: RickB on July 13, 2012, 06:33:42 PM
I have an automatic and I need the double oil cooler. A motor I may be interested in has the single oil cooler on the side of the block and a oil filter setup. How hard is it to change it to a dual oil cooler and is this a part I may be able to find at a  reasonable price?

Thanks

Rick

A all day job Rick mostly cleaning parts nasty job but if Dreamscape can do it so can you sorry Paul

Buying used they are around 300 to 500 I may have one from a 6v92 with it you will need to remote mount the oil filter which is a good idea anyway no more crawling under the bus I'll make you a God Father deal on it if it's all there.

Buy the gaskets in a set you buy those individual from DD it's like buying a race horse Geoff may have some left overs from a complete set I know Don doesn't I have used all his up lol

good luck
