Hi. All Thanks for the responce on my last post.I was wondering what grease you guys use on your dd-3s..the manual says use bw240176(barium base spec 204m lubricant). but i can" find it. so im thinking a good moly grease would be ok.also i got my parts from mci. and sam caylor has n.o.s. diaphragms. thanks again. ;D

biff, I use straight lithium grease per recommendation from C&J Bus repair.  Actually, he prefers to mix ATF with Lithium grease, but the straight lithium grease works good for me since I don't have the ability to mix ATF with lithium and then get it back in the grease gun very easily.

I got lithium grease at NAPA in the small town of Gettysburg, SD on a recent trip. It is in a blue tube. The bus mechanic at Interstate Detroit Diesel in Sioux Falls, SD recommended it for the air cooled belt drive alternator on our bus.

Good luck, Sam

I recently got some grease from O'Reilly for general use.  It says it is super lithium fortified with moly.  Is there anything wrong with just using that.  It says it is for high pressure applications.
