The GM manual states that there are three places to find the serial number of a PD 4106: the plate on the right side of the dash, which is missing on mine; the right side of the cylinder block, which is so dirty that I cant find the number; and on the bulkhead in the tool compartment. Does anyone know which is the door to the tool compartment? I have looked in every compartment to no avail.

That would be the compartment under the driver's seat :)

Finally got a second picture with orientation to the front of the bus. Mine is a 1962 PD4106.
