Used to read about them all the time and I haven't heard anything for quite some time. You get sucked into people's lives and start caring about what happens to them and then it seems you can't keep up with life. I thought Cody got knocked off the board and then I never heard any more.

Cody has moved.

The short of it is "banned for life"
Cody may be indeed be "banned for life" at this point, but he was asked to sign some paperwork before he would allowed back and he refused to do so. I have no idea if he would be allowed back at this point if he did sign the paperwork.
Cody had quite a run-in with the BCM forum management and threatened a federal lawsuit. The was the straw that broke the camels back.
Some of the threads he was involved in became very contentious. One of them was this one: http://www.busconversions.com/bbs/index.php?topic=18363.0 (http://www.busconversions.com/bbs/index.php?topic=18363.0) He asked the moderators to remove all of his posts in that thread (including his original post that started the thread). The thread is a bit disjointed, but I think you can get a feeling for what went on.
Between his posts (many of which he removed) and Dallas removing most of his posts (something over 600 posts), the forum was restructured so that you can change your post for up to 24 hours (or something like that) and then it becomes locked from editing/removal of text. They asked all members to acknowledge that requirement. Most folks "signed" with no problem, but some folks refused to sign.
Cody still reads many of the threads on this board as do many folks who are not registered.
He is very active on the BNO forum.
Jim
He's alive and well. We chat on face book or phone from time to time.

He told me that Libby is pretty well (at least that is what I gathered ;D) and is still keeping him in line. Apparently he hasn't lost hope in getting sainted yet....

They are, but they aren't.
Seems to get her set up for medical help they couldn't be married or live together.
So they maintain separate residences but still spend time at each others places. Also they go places and do things together. Just can't live together. (literally)
And FWIW john yes he's still contending for Sainthood.
;D BK ;D
It is sad that medical costs force people to do things like Cody had to do. My uncle had to legally divorce my aunt so she could get the nursing home care she needed. The family couldn't afford the care, but medical assistance said they made too much money.
Yes it is a shame.
Your Uncle & Cody had the same issues with too much income.
How can a man drawing disability because he was forced out of work by illness make too much $ when his wife has $100's of thousands of dollars in medical expenses?

Dan, Abby and Danielle, thirty years ago... Kinda fun! I found this a while ago, when curiousity about what the heck a Skanee House actually was got the better of me...

Intresting little read. If you ever meet Cody and Libby you can't help but like them, they are a pair. Great people, I am trying to get Libby to let Cody Kidnap her and bring her down to Bk's for the get together and bring their daughters if they want to tag along.
Don
Yup! He is still alive and well in facebook land. He comes on my page and ribs me almost weekly :D

Divorcing your wife to avoid paying her medical bills is an unusual path to sainthood where I come from.

Bob,
It was not either of their choices or desires to divorce for this purpose.
But it was also neither one of their fault that the hospital gave her a lethal dosage of medication that caused irreparable damage to her kidney system and nearly killed her either.
Medical bills soared up in the hundreds of thousands of dollars (if not millions) and with them already of Cody's limited amount of disability income for being forced to quit working because of the Parkinson disease as well as the Multiple sclerosis he was diagnosed with.
But when you are trying to pay what ya can, and hold out until the stupid multitude of lawyers quit getting delay after delay to allow her to die from lack of care before it goes to court. And then all the sudden because of the unpaid bills the care givers refuse to even see her anymore let alone treat her or provide any means of getting the dialysis or medications she needed to stay alive, ya do what ya gotta do to keep her alive and try to survive the legal out come of it later.
But since your already a SAINT where you come from you wouldn't understand that's the way the American system does things to keep from helping those that desperately need it to survive.
;D BK ;D
This thread is locked due to the fact neither Cody or Libby can respond to any part of it. I will discuss this with the Moderators to get their view point on this.
