Dear Friends,
Our original speedometer was showing about 60% of actual speed. I looked all over for a repair or replacement. Everything was 3,000 pesos (approx $225 U.S.) or way a above, and that is for something with no warranty. So I bit the bullet. At the suggestion of several others on these awesome forums, I ordered a 4inch, 80-MPH GPS speedometer. Just wire up the 12 volts and the back-light, position your antenna, and you are done.
The lady said it came with 15-feet of antenna cable, so positioning it should be easy. I will let you know how it works out.

I like how it displays your 1/4-mile and 0-60 times! Just what's needed for an old bus! I would need a calendar more than a clock for my acceleration. Fun!

0-60 in 15 minutes....
Have fun !

Looks like a nice unit and the price is really not bad compared to others that I looked at.
I've had one of those installed in my 4104 for about a year now and it works great....
I didn't even mount the antenna outside it is stuck (magnetic) to the drivers side pillar facing the front window.
I like that it is insulated from ground because my bus still has the positive ground system.
I made a flat aluminum plate that the Speedometer mounts in and then the plate mounts to the inside of the dash. it makes it look close to factory being recessed slightly.
