I am attracted to the fact that it does not require a long-term contract.

The price is really steep compared to two years with Verizon.  Verizon gets you 5GB a month for $50 a month plus taxes and fees.

Brian: That sounds cheap, but I would be in the U. S. maybe just a month or two per year. Verizon does not cover Mexico.

http://www.Millenicom.com (http://www.millenicom.com) offers some great no-contract options.  They resell Verizon and Sprint.   We pay $60/mo for 20GB of Verizon 3G coverage. If you go Sprint (which is what justgetmobile is reselling, for a lot lot lot less bandwidth), you can get an unlimited account for just a bit more, or you can go 4G too.  No contract, no extra taxes and we can suspend at any time.

Highly recommended.
